Certificate of Service Paragraph should include email
THIS WAS ADDED AS AN IDEA AND NEOS MARKED IT AS ALREADY EXISITS. IT DOES NOT!! IT CURRENTLY ONLY PULLS FAX NUMBER NOT EMAIL ADDRESSES.
The Certificate of service is a very important part of document creation. Each and every document that is filed with the court or served on a party must have the certificate of service. This cuts across ALL jurisdiction.
This idea was been posted over a year ago and under many other ideas. This should have been addressed and fixed already. Not "planning to implement"!!!
The problem is that there is no tag that contains both email and fax number. Our rules require the email for email service and the fax number for fax service. Since there's no way to insert a conditional tag, i.e., a different tag based on the method of service, our certificate of service will not populate all the required information.
I was told it was added in other options for Cert/Notice List Format & Cert/Notice Paragraph Format; however, we have almost 300 templates, those didn't exist when we created ours. To put the work back on the customer is outrageous. Neos should just fix the Certificate of Service in Paragraph option to include the email.
I think Neos knows how bad their software is and purposefully marks these as "already exists" or something similar to make it seem to their customers like they are making improvements. They also did this to a suggestion about "nesting" documents. The function does not exist.
