Whenever you have a checklist item to a primary checklist that doesn't have a due date, the status of the item is considered: Blank; however, whenever you set the date to a checklist item the item remains as status: Blank.
It would be best to change the Status from Blank to Open whenever a checklist item's due date is set from none to a date, so there is less need for people to remember to change the status after setting the due date, and will automatically populate in Needles today when refreshed.
This would be outstanding
this would help our firm get more functionality out of the checklist
it's hard to implement widespread use of checklist when there are so many extra little steps you have to get used to
once I have added a date something is due, it's logical that I want the item to be open so that it will show on my Neos today, etc.
I want to be focused on my work on the case rather having to think about how to get Neos to show me my checklist items
