I appreciate the new email features, however, I would like the ability to either populate a custom value email address or bypass this field and open in Outlook to then email to someone not affiliated with the case contacts, such as a coworker or my boss.
Agreed!
I agree with all of the comments and to restate: "I agree. When we process mail, we want to just send it to the staff members on the case. Now, we do either have to select a party on the case or manually type at least one staff member's email before it will allow us to open in outlook or send the email through Neos."
I completely agree with this post. The new update adds an additional step, which is completely unnecessary given that it worked just fine before without this additional step. This is particularly true when you don't know the email recipient's exact email address, but know it will automatically populate in outlook from your previous emails. With this added step, you have to put someone's email in that you do know, even if that person is not one of the intended recipients to the email and then remember to delete it once it is open in outlook before you send the email. Again, completely unnecessary and cumbersome.
Agreed - we frequently used the "open in outlook" feature to quickly convert a Word doc to a pdf, now we have to add an email address and it's just one more unnecessary step. Please change it back!
I agree with other comments. We need the ability to add an email address as "Copy" or "Blind copy". We always add the other case team members to an email to keep everyone in the loop on what is happening.
