No point in putting staff into a permission group if you have to set the staff permissions to inherit. Would be a massive time saver if when you put a new staff member into a permission group it would immediately set them to inherit across the board.
Alternatively if when you make a new staff their permissions are by default set to inherit since we should be using permission groups in the first place.
This makes lots of sense to me. Alternatively if when you make a new staff their permissions are by default set to inherit since we should be using permission groups in the first place.
At this point you must open each person up expand all then inherit all from 4 different places for each category. So if you want to inherit each of that group that is 37 clicks per user! I thought databases or CRM were to make things easier.
Agreed. There could at least be a permissions group option on the first screen of the new user window so that NEOS will push the group permissions and set it to inherit, otherwise it can do the all-enable default (which I think is not ideal when you have a new user starting and possibly the admin forgets to set the user's permissions to inherit).
Otherwise we should at least have a button at the top of permissions that will set all the permissions to inherit/enable/disable to save us admins a lot of time.
