For instance, automation would be when a checklist item is marked done it triggers another checklist item to generate and email a document to the client. It might be beneficial to have the ability to apply that automation to the Primary Checklist at the case type level and with variables to choose at the case level. Right now the user must build out each automation, for each case, as the user works the case.
Totally agree that having the automation editing tool on the primary checklists item screen would be so wonderful.
Agree that it would be more helpful if automation could be added to the primary checklists in case types so the automations do not have to be manually added to individual cases.
It would be more useful to setup from the case type level, instead of on a case-by-case basis.

We included the ability to send communications via SMS or Email from any checklist item when specific criteria is met.
Make sure Intake Pro is enabled, then simply view details for any checklist item (includes both Intake and Case checklists), and click add automation. From there, you can setup conditions like case type, code, assignee and status, and apply the SMS or Email template that is sent when the conditions are met.
