There should be another option for checklist items called "Auto-Generate", and not just Active and Inactive. If an item is listed as "Active" it generates for every case. If it is not "Active", you cannot add it at all from the +Add button. There are some checklist items that don't apply to every case, so I don't want all items auto generated, but I need the option to add them when needed. For example, a Minor statute (I know you can do this through Auxiliary checklist, but that feature also leaves a lot to be desired and takes too many extra clicks and a refresh). Another example is the TDo or Task items. If I ever want to generate a task for a staff member to complete, it has to be Active and therefore every case has a blank task upon opening. There should be active and active & auto generated for checklist items.
