To lockdown what's visible in Staff Directory, it is not uncommon to restrict full access to users. However, certain things are linked with the Staff Directory Enabled permission. With this being said, it would be nice to implement the ability to say if a user has access to their own Staff Profile or Others' Staff Profiles similar to how Calendar, Notes and Messages permission work.
