Please - TAKE AWAY the auto-generated documents when marking a task done.
We don't always need to generate a document when we mark a task done. We used to have the option to generate a document and now we don't. Extremely frustrating to have to X out of the auto document. Change it back!
Make the plus sign the way you can generate a document for that task like it was in Needles. OR offer the option to view the status column and don't link that to the auto generating. Offer us a way to not have to generate docs when marking a checklist item done. The admin at minimum should be able to turn this feature off for the firm.
At the very least, provide the prompt "Do you want to generate the document?" and have Neos behave based on the user's answer so the user can proceed accordingly.

This is editable in the checklists themselves. Have your admins adjust.
HOWEVER, the suggestion to have it be user-input directed makes a lot of sense, as it allows for different use-cases across teams.
