The Value Code field really should be first on the value entry screen from top to bottom, left to right, before the Provider information, especially when you have a code like DTF that can auto-fill the provider.
When you set the Value Code of an entry to DTF, you can no longer change it to a different code. Sometimes, we have entries posted as DTF that need to be an attorney fee or a lien, instead, and we have no way to change them. We have to re-create the entry from scratch. This behavior was present in Needles 4, as well, and I did not approve of it then.
