Currently when a user is trying to insert a PDF into another PDF in PDF Editor it pulls from the "Browse Documents" list and you are unable to filter to a specific case or client. Currently, the only way to use this effectively is to search for the exact name of the document which makes it difficult when you want to select multiple documents from one case.
As a firm with hundreds of thousands of documents in our system, without additional search parameters, this function is effectively useless to us. Rather than having technology that works to streamline our processes, without this feature the Neos case document feature and the PDF editor hinder our progress and add frustration and additional time to our workflow.
The PDF Editor is an awesome add-in for Neos only if it can be used to its potential.
Moreover, Neos is an assembly software and the PDF editor is nowhere previewing any assembly when trying to add documents. It is important for documents to be saved in a facet order within Neos (which they are) however this awesome feature does not translate in the PDF Editor.
When PDF editor is commanded to add a document it spits out any and all documents ever saved in Neos. This is not logical nor proficient for staff to work in a timely manner.
Your attention to this is appreciated and warranted.
