A id shows whenever the user uses document merging, this ID is only useful to those who are making templates, but most of the users who specifically use the reports don't use it for anything at all and is extra information.
Suggested change would be to hide it behind an hoverable icon, so that who need to see it can still get it, but those who don't need to see it will not have the information cluttering their screen. This causes more confusion than it's worth, and doesn't need to be in a direct line of sight.
