I agree that tabbing should be something we have more control over in the layout manager. If a superscript or subscript tab number was available in the layout manager for us to manipulate so tabs flow correctly that would be ideal. This is something that anyone dealing with ergo issues would benefit from and help firms with support staff physical needs.
I found that to continue tabbing from the drop down, once you've made your selection, hit the ESC key and then you should be able to tab to the next field

tabbing ability doesn't exist when you are in a drop-down which would be convenient
