A repeating checklist item that contains a merge template, for example, should not be generated each time the checklist is marked done and reset. It is unnecessary and creates duplicative templates. Instead, the user should decide whether they want that template merged.

If we could get back the plus sign to tell Neos when to generate a document for that specific checklist item, that would be more helpful than it auto-generating when marking a checklist item as done. We didn't like that when you mark a checklist item done that it would automatically pop up with the doc. Typically, when I am marking a checklist item as done, it is because I have already generated the document.
If I've marked off "Send LOR," I do not need Neos to autogenerate the document. I already sent it.
