Currently "past month" pulls everything from the last thirty days rather than the last month, "past week" pulls everything from the last 7 days rather than everything that has happened in the past week, and so on. It would be more clear if instead, "past month" pulled from the first day of the previous month, "past week" pulled from the Sunday before last, and so on.

'This Month' should be the calendar start of this month to today. Etc.
Should pull by timeframes - 'Last Week' should be last Sunday to Saturday. 'This Week' should be This Sunday to Saturday. 'Last Month' should be the full month BEFORE this one.
