When reviewing either notes and/or value tab we would like the ability to fully open (not preview) a note or a value tab item and when we "x" out have that note highlighted so we don't lose our place. When reviewing 50+ items, it's hard to remember exactly where you were.

This fix needs to get applied to message inbox as well, not just value tab notes. if you click once on a message to get preview then click out of it, hard to tell where you left off in a big list of messages to get through

as to notes, different than documents, you should be able to "page" thru them, same as when you open a photo in a file browser and you can right click/arrow to the next one or left to go back; make the experience the same as if it were paper...
YES YES YES. The amount of scrolling Neos' Value and Case Notes screens require is a time drag, not to mention hastening the onset of repetitive use injuries of the hands, wrists and arms. PLEASE put this at the top of your list to fix.
The same thing happens in Case Docs. I dislike having to scroll back and find my place after editing the document details.
When you exit out of a note after examining it, it would be nice if it didn't immediately go back to the last note you entered. When going through old notes, this is quite annoying. google
It would be nice if after reviewing a note, it didn't automatically go back to the last note entered when you exit out of that note. This is very frustrating when you are reviewing old notes.
I agree that having even a tag help flag reviewed notes and/or value tab with color across the item of course.
