When accessing the calendar, if a user would like to delete multiple items, they currently need to go into each item one by one, and then delete each item.
Users would like to be able to select multiple calendar items and delete them/edit them at one time to improve workflow and reduce the number of clicks.

god idea. My other suggestion was when closing a file, the pending calendar items automatically get deleted or the option to mass delete is available.
