When searching cases, please provide an option to search by case status and filter out closed cases or pending leads. Or make the results default to open cases. So much time is wasted accidentally pulling up closed cases or saving emails etc. to closed cases, and then having to go back and delete them and add to correct case.
This is a great idea.
Having the option to limit searches to open cases would be very helpful for intake groups. When you are handling high volumes of calls, the more time you spend fishing for the correct party/case, the more time you unnecessarily keep callers on the phone and the fewer calls you can process. The need to search for a closed case is an exception.
Unfortunately, the issue will only get worse as the database grows.
